The PA Announcer will announce batters, game events, sponsor reads, and other in-game updates. The role keeps fans informed and engaged during the game.
Key Responsibilities:
- Announce batters and game events (home runs, strikes, etc.).
- Read sponsor messages and in-game promotions.
- Keep announcements clear, professional, and energetic.
- Coordinate with the game operations team for smooth timing.
- Announce giveaways, special events, and promotions.
- Assist with special announcements (anthem, player intros, first pitches, pre-game).
- Ensure all announcements are accurate and on time.
Qualifications:
- Previous announcing or public speaking experience is preferred.
- Clear, confident speaking voice.
- Knowledge of baseball.
- Comfortable working in a loud, fast-paced environment.
- Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday games.
