The Hudson Valley Renegades, High-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, are seeking qualified candidates for the role of Public Address Announcer. Reporting to the Manager, Game Day Promotions & Programming, the Public Address Announcer is a seasonal, part-time role and will serve as a primary announcer for Hudson Valley Renegades home games at Heritage Financial Park.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for keeping fans informed with game information as well as communicating various scripted messaging to fans.
Announce all in-ballpark reads, including sponsor promotions, pregame ceremonies, starting line-ups, player introductions, in-game updates, and other baseball game details, as needed.
Maintain clear communication with game presentation staff and production team.
Display a positive and professional demeanor while representing the Hudson Valley Renegades.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

The Public Address Announcer must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skill and abilities:

In-depth knowledge of the game of baseball and ability to understand in-game action
Ability to follow a script, react quickly, and readily accept feedback
Great communication and listening skills
Ability to multitask, keep track of player changes and game progress
Flexible schedule to allow commitment to most, if not all, Hudson Valley Renegades home games necessary during the 2025 season, including select weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Previous experience as a PA Announcer or professional peaking background preferred (radio announcing, voice over talent, other hosting experience).

2. Baseball Camps Promotion PA
“Renegades Baseball Camps return this summer! Choose from three options: Classic Camp 1, Classic Camp 2, and Advanced Camp. Campers will have the opportunity to play on the field at Heritage Financial Park just like the real Renegades. For more information and to sign up, go to renegadesbaseballcamps.com.”

3. Sponsorship Announcement
“Fans, please direct your attention to the field for this half-inning sponsored by Adam’s Fairacre Farms.”

4. Pitching Change Announcement from #23 Blane Abeyta to #29 Trent Sellers.
5. Batter Announcement for first baseman, #21, Josh Moylan.
