PA Announcer/MC for Chicago Mustangs Semi-Professional Soccer Team (Part-Time/Seasonal)

Dates: Saturday Jan 11, 2025, Saturday Feb 8, 2025, Saturday Feb 22, 2025, Saturday Mar 15, 2025, and Saturday Mar 29, 2025
Time: 7:00 PM CT (all home games)
Pay: Negotiable

About the Position:
The Chicago Mustangs are seeking a dynamic, energetic PA Announcer/MC to provide live announcements during our home soccer matches. The role will include introducing players, making announcements about sponsors, player birthdays, promotions, and other event-related information, and creating an exciting atmosphere for our fans. This is a seasonal, part-time position for home games held at the Grand Sports Arena in Hoffman Estates, IL. The ideal candidate should have an engaging personality and be comfortable speaking in front of a crowd.

Responsibilities:
Announce starting line-ups and player substitutions
Make announcements about sponsors, promotions, and other in-game events
Highlight player birthdays, team milestones, and other special acknowledgments
Engage with the crowd to help build excitement and atmosphere
Maintain a professional and energetic tone throughout the event

Requirements:
Previous experience as an announcer, MC, or public speaking role preferred, but not required
Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred, but not required
Strong communication skills and a confident, engaging voice
Ability to work in a fast-paced, live-event environment
Reliable and punctual for all scheduled game dates
