Role Overview

The Minnesota Vixen are seeking a passionate and dynamic Public Address Announcer to bring energy and excitement to our 2025 home games. As the voice of the Vixen, you’ll play a vital role in creating a memorable game-day experience for fans, players, and sponsors. If you love football and have a flair for captivating a crowd, this is your chance to shine!

Key Responsibilities

• Announce starting lineups, in-game updates, sponsor messages, and fan engagement prompts.
• Deliver energetic and lively calls to keep the crowd informed and excited.
• Collaborate with the operations team to prepare and rehearse scripts for each game.
• Enhance the fan experience with dynamic play-by-play announcements and critical moments such as third-down calls or touchdowns.
• Facilitate crowd engagement activities, including announcing contest winners, giveaways, and other fan-focused promotions while working with fan engagement team.
• Promote team social media and events through prewritten announcements during games.

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience with live sporting events preferred, football experience is a plus but not required.
• Skills: Strong vocal presence with the ability to engage and excite a live audience.
• Professionalism: Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with excellent verbal communication skills.
• Personality: Energetic and lively, with a natural ability to promote fan engagement.
• Preparation: Willingness to prepare, practice, and deliver scripts effectively.

Commitment

• Game Day Availability:
  • 3 regular-season home games between April and June.
  • Potential for up to 2 postseason games in June or July.
• Pre-Game Preparation:
  • Collaborate with the team to rehearse and finalize scripts ahead of game day.
• Location:
  • Twin Cities, Minnesota.
